How to use a Hobble Belt as a wrist & ankle restraint

The Hel Milano Hobble Belt is a fashionable, designer Italian leather belt with a kinky secret. A stylish belt that you can wear every day, but at a moments notice it can be transformed into one of more than a dozen different BDSM restraints.

How to use your Hel Milano Hobble Belt as a wrist and ankle restraint

In my previous post I talked about the history of the Hobble Belt and showed you six different ways that the Hel Milano Hobble Belt can be used as a BDSM restraint. Today I want to share with you four new Hobble Belt tutorial videos concentrating on using your Hel Milano Hobble Belt to restrain your partners wrists and ankles at the same time. I'm going to show you two new ways to use your Hel Milano Hobble Belt, and how to combine two of the restraints from my previous tutorials and use them together.

The Wrist and Ankle Cuffs

Our first restraint for today’s lesson is the wrist and ankle cuffs. I've shown you this restraint before, but I made this new video because it fits with the theme of todays post. This is basically a four column restraint that takes care of both wrists and both ankles, leaving your partner open to all sorts of interesting play options.

  • Place the long section of the belt against the top of one wrist with the metal HEL plate facing inwards (against the wrist) and the buckle end of the belt towards the second wrist
  • Wrap the belt around under the wrist and feed it through the first metal ring
  • Wrap the belt around over the second wrist and feed it back through the first metal ring
  • Wrap both ends of the belt around the first ankle and feed the tip of the belt through the second metal ring
  • Wrap both ends of the belt around the second ankle and close the belt as you normally would

The Wrist Cuffs and Crossed Ankle Restraint

The wrist cuffs and crossed ankle restraint is a three column restraint, with each wrist restrained in a separate loop while the ankles are restrained together in a single loop.

  • Place the long section of the belt against the top of one wrist with the metal HEL plate facing outwards and the buckle end of the belt towards the legs
  • Wrap the belt around under the wrist and feed it through the first metal ring
  • Wrap the belt around over the second wrist and feed it back through the first metal ring
  • Cross both ankles over the top of the belt and close the belt as you normally would

The Wrist Cuffs and Crossed Ankle Cuffs

The wrist cuffs and crossed ankle cuffs configuration is similar to the wrist cuffs and crossed ankle restraint, but here we will have each wrist and each ankle restrained in separate loops.

  • Place the long section of the belt against the top of one wrist with the metal HEL plate facing inwards (against the wrist) and the buckle end of the belt towards the legs
  • Wrap the belt around under the wrist and feed it through the first metal ring
  • Wrap the belt around over the second wrist and feed it back through the first metal ring
  • Place one ankle on top of the belt and feed the end of the belt through the second metal ring
  • Cross the second ankle over the belt and close the belt as you normally would

The Wrist Cuffs and Collar + Ankle Hobble (Ankle Cuffs)

For this tutorial you're going to need two Hel Milano Hobble Belts, but they don't need to be the same width or length. You could have a 40mm Hobble Belt to wear with your jeans and a 30mm to wear with your suit, or one Hel Milano Hobble Belt for you and one for your partner.

In the wrist cuffs and collar restraint configuration, the Hobble Belt is first used to form a set of wrist cuffs, then finished by creating a collar around the neck. You then use a second Hel Milano Hobble Belt to make an Ankle Hobble which  restrains the ankles with about 4 inches of space between them. This space between the ankles prevents the ankle bones of the restrained person from being crushed together, which can be quite painful (and not in a good way), but it can also be used as a handle when you have your partner on their back like this with their feet up in the air.

For the Wrist Cuffs and Collar:
  • Place the long section of the belt against the bottom of one wrist with the metal HEL plate facing outwards and the buckle end of the belt towards the second wrist
  • Wrap the belt around over the wrist and feed it through the first metal ring
  • Wrap the belt around under the second wrist and feed it back through the first metal ring
  • Wrap the ends of the belt around the neck and close the belt as you normally would

For the Ankle Hobble:

  • Place the long section of the belt against one ankle with the metal HEL plate facing outwards
  • Wrap the belt around the ankle and feed it through the first metal ring
  • Feed the belt through the second metal ring
  • Wrap both ends of the belt around the second ankle and close the belt as you normally would

So, now you know even more different ways to use a HEL Milano Hobble Belt, it’s time to order one for yourself, and your partner.
